Women's Ministries

Our Womens' Ministries operates under the direction of our Women's Ministries Committee currently consisting of our Ladies President, Pat Deason, Vice President Gwen Sims, Secretary Miranda Simmons, Treasurer Sherry Gunter, and the pastor's wife, Sis. Debra Warren.  

Our Ladies meet on the 3rd Thursday Evening of each month at 6:30PM in the church fellowship hall.  There is a different speaker each week and everyone brings a covered dish for a fellowship meal.

In keeping with the ordinances of the Church of God, some of the Women's Ministries' purposes are to engage in prayer for the welfare of the church and the lost, to visit the sick, rest homes, PTA's, and other worthy civic organizations where their influence could be effective for God, the church, and the community.

Futher, they are to raise funds to be disbursed in behalf of the local church, state, and general work, after consulting with and having approval of the pastor.

Our ladies are currently raising money towards decorating the church and for missions.

Women are encouraged to accept their responsibility as women of God who will offer themselves as living sacrifices, acceptable and pleasing to God; be devoted to one another in love, honoring one another above themselves; serve God and their church with zeal, keeping their spiritual fervor; joyfully hope; be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer; share with God’s people who are in need; and practice hospitality. The verses found in Romans 12:1, 10-13 are the foundations for these aspirations. Women are also encouraged to be committed to teaching the younger women, as outlined in Titus 2:4.

For I know the plans I have for you,
